Fed raises collateral standards

The Federal Reserve Board announced this morning that, in addition to the recent coordinated actions, it will further expand its securities lending program by approving additional categories of paper eligible for the Term Auction Facility and Term Securities Lending Facility programs, and the primary discount window facility.

The rated paper will now be accepted as collateral with immediate effect, at the following discount rates:
