Lehman’s criminal cover-up

Seems to be underway in the UK:

...The bank has, however, not taken the big US hits that have shredded its rivals’ balance sheets.

Just how bad Lehman’s experience [in UK sub-prime lending] has been cannot yet be judged because both Southern Pacific Mortgage and Preferred Mortgages have still not filed their accounts for the period since November 2005. The 2006 accounts were due in September last year—this is a criminal offence. With a prestigious Wall Street name treating UK law with such contempt, perhaps Companies House will make an example and prosecute...
